What is the IQS score and why does it matter?

The Inventory Quality Score (IQS) indicates the quality of the data and models being used to calculate your emissions inventory. The score is calculated based on the type of data inputs and models being used as well as the source of the underlying emissions factor. Over time, when more data is collected by your organisation, your IQS score should increase.

Using the IQS Score means that over time as you collect better data, your inventory will become more accurate and robust.
